HPCET  Exam 2021 is going to be in May or June. HPTU(Himachal Pradesh Technical University Coaching Center), conducts this Common Entrance Test for admissions in following Courses:

HPCET Exams’ is in an offline mode. But, the application form need to fill online. The Questions are going to be in MCQ type and the total marks are 100 or 200 depending on course.
The test is conducted only in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

HPCET Eligibility Criteria 

Age Limit for HPCET 
Post-Graduation Courses
For  boys, the maximum age is 26 years,
For girls, the maximum age is 28 years.
For of SC / ST, the maximum age is 29 years.

Undergraduate courses
For  boys, the maximum age is 22 years,
For girls, the maximum age is 24 years.
For SC / ST , the maximum age is 25 years.

 

Education Criteria Course Wise :

Name of Course Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (Direct Entry) – must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
– Must have 45% marks in Gen category and 40% for SC / ST candidates in Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.
B. Tech (Lateral Entry) – Must have secured 45% in Diploma examination / B. Passed B.Sc. Degree 40% in SC /ST.
– Must have passed D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry) -Must have cleared class 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with 45% and 40% for SC / ST applicants.
B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) Should have passed   D.pharmacy from institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda) Should have 45% in PCB Class 12 marks, and 40% in SC /ST
B.Arch (Direct Entry) Should have passed with 50% in aggregate in Class 12 in PCM.
– Must have secured 50% in Diploma examination with Mathematics
B.Sc. (HM &CT) – Should have passed  class 12 with 50% marks.
BHMCT Should have passed
M.Tech Must  have completed B.E / B.Tech course with 50% marks and 45% marks in case of reserved category.
BBA / BCA Should have passed class 12 with 50% marks and 45% marks in SC/ST.
M.Pharmacy Must have bachelor degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from recognized University with 55% marks and 50% marks in reserved category.
MBA Must have completed 3 year graduation course with 50% marks and 45% marks in case of reserved category.
MCA (Direct Entry) Must have passed / appearing bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years duration and Mathematics at 10+2 or at degree level securing at least 50% marks
Or
Should have passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level.
M. Sc. in Physics Should have secured 50% in graduation level. For SC / ST it is 45%.
M. Sc. Environmental Science Should have passed graduation in any stream including subjects Engineering / Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Architecture.
P G Diploma in Yoga Should have secured 50% in graduation level. For SC / ST it is 45%.
Should have a NOC certificate if they are employed.
